This site was to improve my skills at PHP and MYSQL and also to showcase some of the photography I have taken. I enjoy taking them and although no professional, I enjoy taking interesting photographs. I constantly try new things and try to experiment with what meagre equipment I have! The site was built using PHP and a MYSQL database backend which stores detail of the photos.

This site was created for a local magician who wanted to promote his business more effectively. He currently had brochures and business cards but nothing online where people could see what he does. I was responsible for all design of the site including the logo, and all web programming. Throughout the design process I had regular meetings with the client to make sure he agreed with my vision of the site. Information to build the site came from his current brochures and a lot of information he had on various sheets etc. I feel this website gathers all his information into an easy to use website. In the future there may be updates to include performance video on the main page. I wanted to make the site comply with web standards throughout and make it cross browser compliant.
